Danielle worked with my husband and I to stage our first home for selling. She was very knowledgeable about how to make each room look its best. She helped to declutter each room, move furniture around, and make each space look and function better than I ever thought it could! We had Red Couch Interiors makeover our dining room, kitchen, and family room, which all still had white walls and very little window treatments. When Danielle arrived, she was on time and prepared to offer us many suggestions and choices. However, when she suggested a color for our family room, my husband was a little hesitant. We are the type of people who always seem to go with the ‘safe’ colors and she chose a color that made us think ‘outside the box’. We decided to go with her professional opinion and are extremely pleased with the end result. She also designed our dining room around a framed picture/poem which is very special to me. She made the picture the focal point, taking colors from it to help design the room. I felt that she really listened and was respectful to what was important to my husband and I. Danielle is the consummate professional.  She listened intently to our ideas and worked them into the overall design. We were embarking on a huge renovation of a 1960s era rancher.  Two main walls were removed requiring a beam to be placed in the attic for support.  This created the open floor plan that we were looking for.

So, basically, we were starting from a blank slate. This would require Danielle to work closely with the main contractor and sub-contractors.  She took out most of the headaches for us in this huge project.  Yet, she still worked in all of our ideas and had the answers when we were at a loss.

She advised and guided us through the selection of paint color, furniture, lighting and other vital components.  She designed and laid out the floor plan including the kitchen and bathroom design and electrical scheme.  She incorporated our existing furniture into the plan, thus helping to control costs. All of this removed the guesswork associated with such a huge project where we had little direct experience and greatly reduced our stress level. We may never undertake such a project again but, if we do, we know exactly where to turn.
